You can sit down together and do this — but your child must be the one who manages the DVSA booking. They need to be present when a match is accepted, as the DVSA portal requires their provisional licence details. Think of it as a five-minute job you do together.

Yes — this is the only route that remains legal. The DVSA banned automated bots and third-party resellers in May 2026. What we do is a peer-to-peer swap: two real candidates, both DVSA-booked, agreeing to exchange their slots. No bots, no automation, no reselling. The DVSA has publicly stated that peer-to-peer swaps between candidates are permitted under their rules.

DVSA have changed the rules on how many cancellations each student driver can take, this is now a maximum of 2. If you have already, sadly, had a previous cancellation and failed please be aware only one more cancellation can be used. Take great care when selecting your next date and that your child is ready if an earlier test required. Similarly, if pushing back, select realistic dates for your swap.

We support both directions. Some families need more preparation time — you can set a later date preference and we'll match your child with someone who wants to move earlier.

Completely. Your child keeps their original DVSA booking throughout. Nothing changes on the DVSA portal until your child logs in and accepts a match themselves. We never touch the booking.
